98 Chevy 1500 recently started flashing the high beams when the horn is pressed instead of sounding the horns. Fuse is good, and relay clicks when horn pressed. When relay is removed nothing happens.

Been to long since I worked on a 98. Best guess is the turn signal switch. It could be the clock spring at the steering wheel. Both are a steering column issue.

Horn does not hoot

Have someone listen under the hood for the sound of a clicking relay as someone actuates the horn ring. Remember if the horn does blow you might scare the listener!!!

If no click check for the under hood relay. If relay not activating check the horn ring. Some times adjacent relays have same pin out/part number. Swap relay and try. Many of the cars use a "clock spring" design on the wheel. Problem air bag circuit makes it difficult to service. Check to make sure all other services are working attached to the wheel (Speed control, radio, etc). If clock spring is failing eventually other circuits would be affected.

If you have key-less entry and have a horn beep confirmation try the FOB. No beep than maybe horn clock spring OK! In no horn beep confirmation try the panic on the FOB. That should make a little noise, and if nothing else you can check your lights.
Ck the fuse if OK
Hot wire horn if still no horn
Replace Horn

Wher is horn locaded on 1995 olds cutless

In the front cowl behind the radiator, on engine side...there are 2 horns, with 2 different sounds...(high pitch-low pitch) You may need to remove the air filter box to have access. There is also a fuse that can fail, or the horn button itself (under the steering wheel airbag) Hope this helps...

Check if you have power at the starter from the ignition key
Try give direct power to the starter, if still not starts, you have a bad starter

Have a 1984 Toyota Maual pickup 4 cylinder, Put in new battery but still nothing when turning key, have head lights but absolutly nothing else.

if the starter is not making any noise then try tapping the starter while someone tries to start it.if the car turns over then you have a bad spot in the starter and will have to be replaced.

When car sits for 3-4 days, battery goes down. Car will not start. Turn switch, sounds like machine gun. Lights ( in and out) blink, horn beeps, pumps make noises, etc. Samde for additional attempts. ...

You either have a battery that is giving out on you or something is draining the battery when it stands for a while. Have the battery tested first . If that checks out ok then you will have to check for the electrical leakage in your system.

Hissing noise, after engine light error

More then likely they could have forgotten to reconnect a vacum line, take it back to them I'am sure they will be more then happy to check it and connect what ever hose is off, I know your not happy about having to go back a 4th time, but if they were trying to take you for a ride, they would have already done it by now.
