Its located in the head and accessable through the top of the engine. Very easy too replace!! You must remove the plastic black cover, and you'll notice 4 blk ignition coils. Remove those!! And the sparkplugs will be at the bottom of those shafts. Make sure to use a sparkplug socket, otherwise it will be difficult to take them out of the shaft. Hopefully this helps!!

After changing the gasket of my gli 93 the power reduced drastically. It was tuned up, new sparkplugs and timing. Still doesnt restore the previous power. I suspect ground wiring. What do you think?

If it was the head gasket that you replaced, it may be fractionly thicker than the original so the compression has dropped. (I have done this myself before).
I could be wrong but its worth a thought

I own a toyota gli '93 and i was taught that to check if your sparkplugs are ok, you should try unplugging each sparkplug by pulling out the tension wire attached. If the engine shake, the your sparkplug...

If you remove the a plug wire and the spark has no where to go, it will find the weakest spot. Sounds like the spark found a weak spot in your distributor, it either found a ground path through the rotor or it fried the coil, in any case its going to be something inside the distributor. By the way pulling the wires with the engine running does not tell you the condition of the spark plugs it only tell you if the cylinders are contributing any power.

Just change the sparkplugs, overhauled the carburetor but still it is hard starting. My mechanic says i have to change my carburetor. is it right?

if your carburetor was overhauled correctly , no , you shouldn't have to change it. Are you sure your problem is fuel supply related? if so , hard starts are usually caused by the following : improper choke setting..a vacuum leak at the carburetor base or intake manifold or a hose ...a faulty accelerator pump ...low fuel pump pressure caused by a bad fuel pump or a clogged filter ....or too low of a gasoline float level in the carburetor.

The car's movement is low

The engine can run sluggish if the timing is wrong or is poorly maintained. I would suggest changing the spark plugs, check the ignition leads, rotor arm and dizzy cap, also check the timing and don't forget the test lead as discribed in the haynes manual for checking your timing. The sparkplugs will indicate this and also you would get pinking from the engine.

Broken camry

Had a similar problem on a 1992 tercel. Hard to find but when checking sparkplugs accidentally found that one of the spark plug cables was internally damaged. Thus the full electrical energy was not being delivered to the spark plug. Upon replacing the distributor cap with all the sparkplug cables, the engine picked up idle speed and run smooth again.
