Most likely this is just a defective oil pressure sending unit, replace it.

Have a 2001 7.3 power stroke that started making a different sound not real agressive but I can tell a diffence and the oil pressure guage recently stoped working at idle

Check first ur oil level and oil filter and oil flow if good next ur oil pressure switch next ur oil pump need to tap pressure gage where oil pressure switch is to see if pump is working properly at idle and need to check cylinder pressure to be close to equal also crank and cam bearing is a possibility for sound detection. Good Luck

Check engine light came on then check gauges light came on then truck stoped

Sounds like possible oil related, will it start? If so check to see if your oil gage is at normal if it is all the way down, your oil sensor gage prob just needs replacing. Cheap part easy fix, otherwise the screen on your oil pump is known for clogging, not very often is it a broken oil pump.

1994 ford crown Victoria my oil gage went out of control, radio stoped working my engine keeps cutting off what the problem

The oil pressure gauge could be causing the engine to stop running. It could be a wiring problem in the harness going to the instrument cluster.

Info on oil gage

The oil gage and the fuel gage both use the same power and voltage control. so if the fuel gage is working the oil gage will work too. The sending unit is mounted on the motor and it gets hot and cold and has to put up with the acids that build up in the oil. this uit with a wire connected to it screws into the engine near the oil filter. The units that work the gage are quite expensive and many peaple just go on without one. I have a trooper and the gage does'nt work on it either and they cost alot and most stores don't have them. Long Island City, NY 800-566-8334 761603608.jpg 873951248.jpg$116 at my store and they have to order it from the wearhouse.

I perchesed a dodge caravan from a car lot. so far I put on tires, Oil change. and a new water pump. my gages started working again. Now all the gages stoped working and only thing working is the turn...

Stop changing things or you'll think you caused it. Likely your dash came unplugged from the wall or a bad grounbd going to it. Hold your breath, now the fun begins. Chances are this is intermittent.

Have you had done or done any electrical work lately? It would appear that yes, either the daytime running light relay, or an auto-shut off relay is confused and it energizing when it is not supposed to.
i suggest to Take it to the dealer, they will know what to do.
other thing that can be possible is:electrial schematics and trace the control system for the lights. Most likely, if you have done electrial work, then it is a crossed wire. If not, then either a bad relay, or bad computer module is at fault
