A P0307 code means that the the car's computer has detected that one of the engines
cylinders is not firing properly. In this case it's cylinder #7.

Symptoms may include:

  • the engine may be harder to start
  • the engine may stumble / stumble, and/or hesitate
  • other symptoms may also be present
A code P0307 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Faulty spark plug or wire
  • Faulty coil (pack)
  • Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
  • Faulty fuel injector
  • Burned exhaust valve
  • Poor compression
  • Defective computer

P1740 is a problem in the Torque converter clutch solenoid or torque coverter lock up issue.

There is one solenoid assy with two solenoids on it. One for the TCC and other for OD. in my experience, P1740 is caused by a couple of things. The torque converters are a subject of trouble for one - I always replace them - the other are the input sealing rings on the input shaft.

Toyota Vitz 2007, 1.0 L, check engine light comes on at 100 km/h and goes off after turning off engine but comes back again at high acceleration like 100 km/h. change oxygen sensor as well.

That code is actually due to the fuel pressure being too low and causing a lean condition that the oxygen sensor picks up. It is common in that vehicle. Check the fuel pump pressure, filters etc.

1998 lincoln mark viii all air flow diverts to defrost vent when a/c on and you accelerate...goes back to correct vent when let off gas

Usually a sign of a vac leak or a faulty vac storage tank. The storage tank holds engine vac to prevent your issue. Engine vac drops to zero when you are accelerating.

A/C fan stops completely (No Air) when accelerating.

The blower is probably running when you are accelerating, but you may not have air coming out the dash vents. If there is a vac leak in the HVAC the vent control will go back to the default setting which is defrost. You may not have enough vac to keep the blend doors on the vent setting when the engine is under load.

Air flow issue- intermittently blows from wrong vents

This is a common problem on this site.
In your case I would look for a vac leak or a sticky blend door.
Since the direction of air flow changes when you are accelerating, I'm going to guess the blend door or doors are controlled by engine vacuum. There may be a vac leak between the dash and the engine, or the blend door may not be able to move back and forth correctly.
Defrost is the default position when a problem occurs, to make sure the windshield is clear of fog or frost.

Air conditioner blows out defrost vents when acceleration.

In f150 truck there is a small vacum hose passenger side up by the windshield. It's a small hose check really good they dry rot and it will cause your vents to switch. Also if your box is bad. It's next to the battery

You have a vacuum leak. Look under the dash and check the placement of the vacuum hoses that activate the vent doors. One or more may have slipped or may be cracked.
