Engine stalled driving?
so engine stalled, but did it restart???????????
a gross loss of electrical power it is...
are battery lug terminals green?with corrosion?
got a $10 voltmeter? if not, get to see electrons blind
12.6vdc battery volts at lugs, is normal rested voltage, or more. is it? engine off.
the reason engine stalls is because the EFI goes dead about 10v margin,, (on avg)
if it dont crank over , after the stall.
what was battery voltage.
it it does start, (you never said)
then what is battery voltage running.
next time do this? no cranks.
use jumper cables to jump start your battery,
off a donor car.
or try a known good, battery (borrowed)
run now?
if it does restart after a stall... tedious...
if a battery discharges driving
that can be the charge system failure.
with a volt meter you can see that.
13.5 to 15v is normal voltage driving
if 12v, or less the charge light comes on and battery drains, to near 10v, then with blower turned on, the breaks the camels back.
and EFI shots down next.
was the charge light on , driving,
cluster lamp, that has icon or words to same
or icon for battery..?>
ever seen this at walfart?

the voltage here, speaks volumes as to CAUSE.
as does your dash charge lamp.state.
Electrical issue. The heat or air draws more current and the electrical system probably drops voltage below the threshold the electronic control module can handle. First check that the Alternator is charging correctly. When running the system should have 13 to14.7 volts measured at the battery. If you turn on the heat/AC and it drops significantly you have a current draw issue (most likely bad fan motor, or short) If the voltage is below 13 volts when the car is running your alternator is likely bad.

hey
u says that u didn't replace the thermostat yet
Your thermostat is sticking. DO NOT DRIVE if the car
overheats, you can do some serious engine damage, if you haven't done so
already. Get the thermostat changed out immediately.
What happened is
your thermostat is sticking. It was stuck and you saw it overheat (and should
have stopped immediately). The added pressure from having a stuck thermostat
pushes the fluild into the overflow.
The temperature may have gone back
to normal if the thermostat "finally" opened. However, since the thermostat is
sticking, it is unreliable and I would get it replaced.
Driving when the
engine overheats can easily cause gaskets, such as the head gasket to fail and
heads to warp. If this has occurred, you're looking at a new engine.

Easy fix. Usually the blower motor resistor gets messed up. (Page 3-8 Haynes manual 47017). The dash light could be a few things. All my bulbs went bad. Little bit of a hassle but no problem with the book.

There are two drain plugs on the bottom of the pan. remove the lower one to drain the trans fluid. To refill, use a pump and pump the fluid into the upper drain plug until it seeps out and re-install the plug, similar to refilling a manual trans.
Once this is done, Start the vehicle and run it for about 3 minutes, shifting through all gears (do not drive vehicle Remove the upper drain plug and let any excess fluid drain out. Done. This is as per Mitchell OnDemand.

you can get a fuse tester and test the fuses most likely it is a fuse if none of them work at all
SOURCE: where is air cabin filter located on 99 isuzu rodeo?
its usually behind the glove compartment in the blower box. you will have to pull the GB door down all the way to access it
