I changed the main relay/ fuse on my 1999 ford escort sport zx2 and I still have the same problem. My brake lights, blinkers, radio, interior lights and locks do not work. What do I do now?

At the moment, I'm talking about turn signal and brake lites.
As far as brake lites, does the high mount brake lite work? If not, did it go out at the same time as the lower brake lites? The reason I ask, while both high mount and lower brake lamps get voltage from the same fuse, but, are wired differently. Did you check the fuse and check for voltage on fuse circuit using a test lite, hot all the time. You can also check the fuse above turn signal switch, that fuse circuit goes hot with the key on. As you can see the turn and lower brake voltage is wired through that flasher. I can't rule out a problem with flasher?

My high beam on left side not working also my daytime running lights not working. 2002 saturn s series I checked fuses and they are good also new bulb

In the diagram, top wires to headlamps are voltage, bottoms wires are ground.
Your dimmer/headlamp switch are on the ground circuit for headlamps. Voltage to headlamps are hot all the time, use a testlite or something and check for voltage at headlamp connector. To check proper ground wire, use a test lite connected to battery voltage, touch the ground wire terminal, if the lite comes on, at least the ground is good enough to turn on test lamp.
There may be a problem with multi-function switch?

My interior light comes on then shuts off all by itself, 1999 olds intrugue

Hi Gordy
Good question....... there is unlikely to be a definitive answer.
Because the supply voltage could be coming from many possible sources.
A short to another 12v source or in the case of a ground switch being used.... it could be a short to ground.

First, use a voltmeter or test light to determine if there is 12v on one of the lamp connections all the time (or when ignition is on)
If this is the case then all the light needs to turn on is a ground connection. (Easily proved with a jumper wire)
Once you know this, then it is a process of elimination to find the colour and rout of the wire from the bulb which is going to ground somewhere on the way to the various door switches.
If the lamp uses an intermittent 12v from the switches to the lamp then the reverse would be true. But that is more unlikely.

Good Luck

Interior lights not working

You mite have a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the BCM - body control module , The BCM controls the interior lights ! Have you heard of a BCM ?
DTC B2615
The body control module (BCM) receives a ground signal from the door jamb, liftglass/liftgate, or courtesy lamp switches requesting courtesy/dome lamp illumination. When this occurs, the BCM directly sends a voltage through the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit illuminating the courtesy/dome lamps.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
?€¢
When the BCM receives a courtesy lamp illumination request signal and the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit is shorted to ground.

?€¢
When the BCM is not receiving a courtesy lamp illumination request signal and the courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit is shorted to voltage or open only to the first splice from the BCM.

?€¢
There is a loss of the rear fuse block TBC 3 battery supply voltage to the BCM for more than 1 second

Diagnostic Aids
?€¢
Perform a visual inspection for loose or poor connections at all related components. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

?€¢
Only an open circuit up to the first splice from the BCM will set DTC B2615.

DTC B3801
The body control module (BCM) monitors the courtesy lamp switch signal circuit in order to determine when the courtesy/dome lamps should be illuminated. When the BCM senses that the courtesy lamp switch signal circuit is grounded when the switch is activated, the BCM will directly illuminate the courtesy/dome lamps. Do you know what a scan tool is ? not a code reader !

My 2000 KIA sportage dome light doesn't work but all other lights are fine changed bulb still doesn't work all fuse are good any thoughts?

The interior light is fed with battery voltage and the door switches and lamp switches and/or circuitry simply provide a ground path with the bulb in the middle.

It is very rare the internal switching develops a fault and mostly the interior or cabin light problems are with the door switches. Very unlikely I would have thought all the switches would fail at the same time so the chances are high battery voltage is not reaching the bulb.
This needs checking with a multimeter or test-lamp. The test-lamp is better. Start by checking voltage is both entering and leaving the fuse and then check at the lamp. It is a good idea to remove the lamp and check the wires and connections visually and the integrity of the ground connection.

2010 Dodge Journey interior lights turn on dim when in reverse, turn off when in drive. Passenger side back up light out but bulb is good. Plate lights go on dim after closing the hatch.

Check the ground for the backup light-I'll bet it shares a ground with the interior lights. When you put it in reverse,it is feeding 12v to one side of the bulb, and instead of going through the bulb to a ground,it is seeking a ground elsewhere(through the interior light). The lights are dim because it has created a series circuit,so the bulbs are running at a lower voltage.

1996 honda accord, 6 cyl, EX Both low beam headlights went out last night. As far as I know, they were working. Went to Walmart and bought a 2 pack headlisghts and put only 1 in and the low beam (new bulb)...

Check the wire circuit for voltage and ground. The top wire is voltage, you can see the wire color, use a test lite, with lights on. The bottom black wire is ground for low beams, chassis ground. You can use test light to check ground, With test light touching voltage, touch ground wire terminal, if the light comes on, at least, the ground is good enough to lite the test light.
