If you're talking about the alignment of the steering wheel when you're driving in a straight line, that's usually handled when you get a wheel alignment. Not normally attempted by weekend mechanics (like me).
have a wheel alignment done as the upper strut mounting plate was not put back in the right place . . The mounting plate is off set so by turning it around ,the wheel alignment changes and when the strut was re assembled the original holes were not in the right place and the alignment has altered.
Wheel alignment and tire balance are the first place to look. if you feel vibrations in the seat. the rear wheels are the fist place to check. if vibrations are present through the steering wheel, then front tire alignment and tire balance are probably the cause. or something suspension or steering related. Even uneven wear on tires can cause this. but uneven wear is the sign of another problem, tracing back to suspension or steering problems.
Possably more major problems with suspension and was the wheel alignment done by a place that did not check your suspension points bushes and ball joints

You must get the wheels re-aligned at a front-end an wheel alignment place. There are a number of critical angles that will now be out and bad steering and excess tyre wear will result. The equipment used is expensive and precise. Your alignment specialist will advise you.
