I RECENTLY CHANGE MY TRASMISSION FLUID AND NOW MY TRASMISSION DO NOT ENGAGE AFTER 60 MILES AND MY RPM KEEP GOING HIGHER

Did you change the filter and the 5 qts of fluid or have the whole system purged with 13 qts and no filter? Did you use the right fluid? Did you check the fluid after driving the car a few miles? How was it running before the change? It is possibly coincidence that the tranny is not shifting, The fluid change would not cause that unless you didn't put in enough fluid or you put in the wrong stuff. The first sign of low fluid is not shifting, check it out, hope this helps.

Trasmission leaking and slipping. When you put fluid in its all on the ground.only slips when low on fluid. Could it be the seal?

Depending on the location of the leak from under the van. With the van setting on level ground have someone to fill the transmission with fluid( do not overfill) look under van to see if the fluid is coming from the front or rear or middle of transmission. If you cannot look under the van then use a large piece of cardboard and slide it under the van before you try to fill it to locate the leak. leak could be front or rear seals leaking or the pan gasket leaking. hope this will help you.

How many ATF go to the aut. trasmission?

You need a scan tool to check the automatic transmission fluid on this car. The scan tool is needed to know the temperature of the fluid which must be close to 40 degrees celsius. At that point you remove the fill plug in the bottom of the transmision pan and fill with fluid until fluid drains back out. Use only genuine VW fluid part number G 052162A2 or you will damage the transmision. If you fill with fluid while tranny is to cool you will over fill and damage the transmission. If you fill with fluid when the tranny is to hot you will underfill and run a slight risk of damaging the transmission. The fill plug and drain plug are next to each other so make sure you are removing the right one. <<<< The above I found on a vw site, The tranny should take about 5 qts for a filter change, or 12 qts for a total rebuild. And the fill plugs on th eside of the tranny, one should be up, that is the filler, and lower one is the level, when it seeps out the lower one, it is full. Hope this helps.

2001 Hyundai Accent - Automatic Trasmission fluid

It is a proprietary Hyundai transmission fluid. Don't use anything other than the Hyundai stuff. This fluid has superb lubrication properties, but it breaks down much quicker than the specified 30,000 mile fluid change intervals. I highly recommend having both the fluid and filter changed once a year or once every 15,000 to 20,000 miles.

Transmission slow to start

the trasmission fluid leval may be low or your cluches are slipping. check the trasmission fluid leval with the engan wormed up and the trasmition in park pull the dip stike with yellow on it and check the level alsow smell the dip stick if it smells burnt the the tran fluid need to be changed.
if it is low put tranmition fluid in it by using a long funal and put the fluid in the tranmition dip stike tube. If the leval is full and the fulid is not burnt it might be trasnmiton cluches and the tranmition needs to be rebilt.
