Question about 2006 Nissan Pathfinder

Clicking noise on 2006 Nissan Pathfinder between 20 and 60 mph

I hear a clicking noise intermittently on roughly between 20 and 60 mph. The noise doesn't happen all the time and isn't tied to engine RPMs. Any ideas? Towing the boat next week and don't want to run into trouble. Thanks!

If u have hub caps remove them and see if the noise goes away.. Sometimes the hub caps aren't tight enough to the rim and move a little causing the clicking.

Dealer says i need to replace my secondary timing chain and tensioners for my 2005 pathfinder, how much will it cost me?

close to 1900.00.sorry.contact nissan.im assuming your hearing a loud whining noise from engine?nissan is aware of this situation and issued atech. service bulletin to address it.from what ive heard the reason for the premature tensioner guide wearthrough and subsequent noise is because the offending secondary chains wrer made to "rough"when manufactured.the replacements are much smoother.like i said nissan is aware of "defect" they may help you out.1-800-nissan1

My Pathfinder runs fine until it gets to about 30 MPH, then the engines starts running rough. The computer code says the problem is the catalytic converter. The car has about 76k miles. That seems to few...

not necessarily, i have saw cadalatic converters on vehicles with 30k on them be pluged up so tight the vehicle would barely idle... i was going to guess that was your problem before i read what the computer said..

THE CLICKING NOISE IS THE SHIFTER LOCK RELEASING, NOTHING TO DO WITH BRAKE LITES. CHECK FOR GOOD GROUNDS AT REAR LIGHT SOCKETS.

Hear clicking sound from Passenger window, but won't roll up or down

The clicking is the relay, that means the relay is ok, if it didn't click it would be defective, you most likely have a faulty power window motor.
