Question about 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
Rear hatch and window won't open on 2003 Blazer
A few years ago, the rear hatch on my 2002 wouldn't open either, but turned out the electrics were fine, the plastic actuator switch had broken. Dorman sells a set of 2 (part number 42426).

owners manual page 2-9 peel back or **** the carpet locally to expose the access hole in trim panel on endgate use a thin screwdriver to reach through the access holes in both th trim panel and the hardware cover. pry the release lever toward the passenger side until the glass latch pops open.

I too had an issue with my rear hatch. My father in law cut a huge hole in the plastic only to find out there is a manual operation hole behind one of the carpeted panels in the hatch. You simply move the latch with pliers.
