Was the automatic belt tensioner replaced or even checked? if if has lost tension then the belt is loose and slip[d under a load, which you hear as a screeching noise.
dear friend-the fact that your car did not switch of for 10 sec means that the fuel did not cut when the ignition was switched of.i think you must have it checked.
