Break light switch mounted under the break pedal or on the main break cylinder. If you shortcut the wire on the switch the break lights should light up.

2006 Chevrolet Colorado, only left front turn signal works, not even hazard are working.

first check the brake light fuse it powers the rear bulbs.
remove and verify that all bulbs are working. note the wire colors going to the bulbs. replace as needed.
next check the turn signal switch. if broken replace.
sometimes switches break on the inside so measure from the power lead to the outputs. The wires going to the bulbs. easy because they are on the bulbs you checked.
if you have towing package there will be a connector to hook up lights on the trailer. Inspect for bare wires or cuts in the insulation.
good luck

How can i find out which fuse is for my flashers an break lights

the flasher doesn't have a fuse, its a flasher unit, a relay in a little box or can , located usually behind the fuse panel on the drivers side kick panel,, up by the dash , if your break lights aren't working, first check the bulbs, if they check ok, check the switch at the top of the brake pedal arm up under the dashboard,,

No break lights work... water in back trunk

if ther was alot of water in it i would get a new tail light. check the fuse to see if it popped and change the balb. if the light has a small crack it can easly be sealed with silicone.
