Sounds like a fuse problem, check the fuses, sometimes the radio has a fuse on it you don't know till you take the radio out.

Not a fuse problem. I have same problem and it must have something to do with the enable signal from the BCM. When the radio in my 2002 Impala does not show power to the radio when starting the car, typically when the car is turned off, until the retained power is shutoff, will come on until the door is opened. Sometimes after I start the car and the radio does not come on if I drive for several minutes and shut off the car and restart the car, the radio lights and power will come on as the key goes from off to ACC or On and works normally. The radio never shuts off once it is powered on. Sounds like a communication problem from the BCM.

Dash and radio lights don't work at night. They are on during the day. 2003 Chev Impala. Have checked all the fuses.

The same thing happens on my 2003 Impala. I found that my dimmer switch has an intermittent failure where sometimes the dash lights go out even with the headlights on.
If I wiggle the dimmer just right, the dash, radio, steering wheel, door locks, and every other light comes on (when the headlights are on). My fix was to mount my Garmin on the steering column in front of the speedometer so when the lights go out I know how fast I'm going. A replacement dimmer (or bypassing the current one and adding a resistor) should take care of it.

I have a 2006 is250 lexus push button start and it only starts sometimes....radio, lights, nav everything works but it won't crank....takes 3-4 times before it cranks and it doesn't happen eve

The first thing you want to check for is the brake signal, without this signal it will not crank, this is the easy one make sure you get brake light, the second is to have the starter tested by a direct method, this gives the indication of the health of the starter

2006 Impala Battery drains while car is running. Battery has been tested, alternator has been replaced. Connections to battery, alternator, aux power have been checked. Happens intermittently, sometimes...

drive belt tension
have the voltage regulator checked /replaced
if it is faulty the battery will drain as it is running all of the electronics without help from a alternator
AS the ecm draws a lot of current, a battery not charging will not last long
most modern cars run about 85% of the alternator with the rest for charging the battery
if the voltage regulator is part of the ECM, replace the ecm unit

2003 Chevrolet? Model?

The best place to start is your owners manual. Your manual should have a description of the fuse boxes and the relay center in it.

Test the relay, make sure the flasher relay connection is sound or just replace the relay to see if your intermittent is resolved.
