The problem is not caused by storage outside an airconditioned environment so don't beat yourself up about that. More than likely the sections in the photo that have peeled off looks to me like damage to the veneer caused by bad handling when being moved into and out of storage (or damaged while in storage)because that is exactly where I would expect to see a problem due to rough handling.

Sections that are peeling can be removed in total and replaced with new veneer and finished to match the original.

If the furniture pieces are reasonably valuable items you are going to keep for years then any decent cabinet maker can replace the veneer sections that are peeling and it is worth having a professional do it if you are keeping the item.

You can save money by doing the surface refinishing yourself. Just keep some spare pieces of new veneer to experiment with to get the colour and finish as close as possible.

Obviously the veneer work is only as good as how it was carried out by the original cabinet maker. I have a desk from 1972 done in a very nice timber veneer that has never been kept in the air conditioned section of the house and none of the veneer has peeled or broken away. It is still in mint condition and survived 3 house moves, one 500 mile move, but properly protected from damage..

My microwave is all peeling on the bottom inside

when you notice that
the paint was peeling that is the time to stop using the fumes from the paint will get into the food you eat, I would call the store let them know about the problem then after you finish you bring the microwave back with your paper work cause you may not be the only one with this problem who ever makes this microwave MUST KNOW THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT.

My couch is peeling plastic mess. Can I save it? There are no holes just this peeling and flaking.

I'm assuming that you're talking about a vinyl couch? You need to condition the material. It's too dry. Use a leather conditioner or an auto upholstery conditioner. To fix the places that have already peeled, you'll need a vinyl repair kit. You can find them in automotive stores, some Walmarts in the crafts department, Amazon, etc. Make sure you get the full kit, not the refill. The full kit comes with tubs of different colors, various pieces of fabric with patterns that you can use to match the pattern of your vinyl, and some come with little irons to melt and set the repair material. It's really easy to do. There are enough colors provided where you can mix the color you need for your repair. Hope this helps.

I have 1969 no mint what is it worth? ????

Numismatic Value: 1 cent to $15.00
Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in average condition will be valued at somewhere around 1 cent, while one in certified mint state (MS+) condition could bring as much as $15 at auction. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say average, we mean in a similar condition to other coins issued in 1969, and mint state meaning it is certified.

1995 paint on cherokee peeling

The peeling paint is a factory defect caused by the paint process they used in this year and others starting in the early 1990's. The cars and trucks with the defect where repainted free of charge on a case by case process, mine did this and being an employee of a dealer got it painted free of charge ($5,500 bill). Your truck is now to old and they will not repaint it.
