You posted 2 times ANON
hold flash mean tranny faults !!!
CHECK FUSES FIRST.
step 2 is scan pcm for transmission error codes
you cant fix cars lacking such a tool. SORRY BUT IS A FACT.
period.
the flashing light also can mean, transmission in limphome mode (DUE TO ERRORS)
the trans will skip gears or shift wrong, late or early
forget all that, IS NORMAL FOR ERRORS LIKE THAT.
get the car scanned, NOW.
or as the operators guide told you, get it serviced now.
NOBODY HERE CAN SCAN YOU PCM\
NOR guess 50ways trans can mess up.
a list would be silly
that is why your mech, went to school for 3 long years. to learn all that.
check fuses
scan 2nd
then leap.

he fails to know what LIMPHOME does and why.
if the computer can not read aLL SENSORS
IT CANt shift accurately or sometimes not at all.
    scan it
    get its scanned
    or get it serviced.
stop guessing. say time, cash and grief.
    work from Facts not rumor.

2005 suzuki verona y is the hold ligh stayin on?

scan it (or get car serviced)
get the car scanned using any scan tool
see what's really up.?
the operators guide in the glove box, tell you what to do, for that lamp.
the hold lamp is for the automatic transmission.

or you never read the book and never saw the H button.
H/P (the older chars had P/S and OD buttons.
OD is overdrive, and P/S is power, or economy, shifting)
no P/H
did you check the buttons? there?
the old suzuki S = new hold. or H,
in pure English H means, hold longer to higher gears to safe fuel.

the same light that glows, H, is also that the PCM sees
Transmission errors. all this is explained in the operators guide.

How to disable 2006 Suzuki Verona hold button

the hold lamp means transmission issues.
scan it
the scan tool will show DTCs, look them up in the FSM book
or get it serviced,
guessing will fail, every time. 100x that on newer cars.

2004 suzuki automatic transmission stuck in park

that is park lock failure, build into the shifter section,it has an
electric solenoid lock. and a bypass button.
in the glove box, see oper. guide, it tells you where the erg. release
button location, and varies by sub body type and options.
its hidden cover, or a slot, on most cars. the slot type is to insert
any key in slot and push. bang, it opens (brake set, etc)

Mitsibishi colt 97 stuck in 1st gear

Your link broke off. What might have happened is the car got stuck in 1st, and when you shifted to second, the link broke. Not too clued up on your car, but you probably need to drop the gearbox. On some cars you can take out the shifter without having to drop the box and still see if the link is broken. Good luck
