Had the problem solved by my good friend who is a mechanic and has hi sown shop. I had a bad fuel injector stopped working after the engine came up to operating temperature.

REPLACE DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES IF NOT BEEN CHANGED IN LONG PERIOD OF TIME.CHECK IGNITION TIMING.CHANGE AIR FILTER CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS.IF ENGINE STILL MISFIRE IGNITION COIL IS WEAK OR YOU HAVE LOW CYLINDER COMPRESSION.
Some vehicles don't run well with the platinum plugs. It will cause the engine to misfire and skip. I would go back with the OEM or a step above unless your car came with platinum plugs which is doubtful. The plugs may be firing off correct when cold but as the engine warms and more friction is there the plugs may be doing more bad because it's not firing correct from the plug being warm. It sounds strange but I work for BOSCH and there are alot of things that don't seem normal to someone that's not involved in making these parts and seeing the everyday test and use. Good Luck. Let me know what you find out and what works.
I would replace the spark plugs and more importantly the spark plug wires. It may be a bad plug wire with a break in it somewhere. It be so small that it only grounds the wire out when it gets warm due to expansion of the insulation around the wire.
Code shows missfire on No 1 cylider. When engine is cold it runs a rich mixture. If the missfire is still No 1 then check for vac leak on manifold. Perhaps a vac line or intake gasket.
It sounds like the problem is isolated to that one cylider if that is the case you may want to check the compression on that cylinder if it is not electrical and no fuel problems it has to be lost of compression
On the assumption that normal servicing is up to date (e.g. spark plugs in good condition), I would suspect the ignition spark generator or the coil. Getting replacements from a scrapyard is a small risk but a darn sight cheaper than buying new if you don't actually need them!
