Hi

The Mazda MPV Mass Air Flow sensor is usually installed in the intake air duct between the air filter and the throttle body mounted on the intake manifold. Some mass air flow sensors are mounted directly to the throttle body depending on the engine variant.

Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer. Many Thanks.

Where is maf sensor located on a 2004 chevy trailblazer

There is no MAF sensor. The MAP sensor is on the drivers rear of the intake plenum on top. Its the only sensor on top of the plenum. Speed density, not sure what you are talking about? Lmk

How do I repair my 2004 Monte Carlo as supercharged kicking out codes p102 and p171

you can try this:

Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.

Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor.

Take the MAF out and clean it using a spray cleaner such as brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner. Be gentle with the sensor.

Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information)

Replace the MAF sensor.

Hi i have a 04 reg mazda premacy 2.0 turbo diesel wich does'nt start it is showing 5 fault codes p0110 iat sensor circuit p0180 fuel temp circuit p0216 injection timing control circuit p1189 pump speed...

P0100 OBD-II Trouble Code

Technical Description

Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Malfunction

Basically this means that there's a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit.

You will likely not notice any serious driving problems, but there may be symptoms like a general decrease in power or sluggishness.
Causes

A code P0100 may mean one or more of the following:

* The MAF may be disconnected, or a wiring connection may be bad.
* The MAF sensor may be faulty.

Possible Solutions

Use an OBD II Reader (or go tou your local parts store and they will for free) and reset the code and see if it comes back.
Then start with the cheapest, easiest repair procedures:

* Check the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring/harness is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.
* Unplug and reconnect the MAF wiring harness a few times to clear the contacts.
* Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information).
* Replace the MAF sensor.

MAF Sensor 2004 Dodge Stratus

If your car has a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor, it would be located in the air delivery tube that runs from the air filter box to the throttle plate assembly on the intake manifold. It will have a wiring connector going to it, also. The MAF does exactly what it is called: It "senses" the volume, or "mass" of the air-flow; thusly it needs to be in the intake air tube. If you do NOT have such a device in the air-tube, you have a MAP sensor, (Manifold Absolute Pressure); this is another way of measuring the same air volume, albeit older technology. You will commonly find this device on the firewall, with a vacuum line running to the intake manifold.

I hope that this sheds some light on your question.
