How ,get it serviced, like the operators guide states//
all cars for 100 years do that."gross misfire and stall"
all.. why?
all not serviced do that. "like bad spark plugs"
get a tune up
or scan with any scan tool and bingo DTCs ,report them.
if the 2L engine, see those cops.
are ends all carbon arc damaged.?

let me guess, not one tuneup last decade?
ran it to ground.

in truth , misfire has over 50 causes
guessing is silly ,no?
even a dead alternator ,will stall car
or overheated
or bad fuel
or clogged filters.
egr stuck open
or ISC stuck closed
and
and
and...end.

It could be the fuel pump or a sensor.
The easiest way - and the cheapest, really - take it to a workshop for a diagnostic check. Let them identify the fault.

If you yourself begin changing sensors etc .. in the hope that you'll cure the problem, it's more than likely you'll buy and fit parts that aren't needed.

2005 Verona rpm revs as I drive and when at a light feels like it's going to stall and sometimes it does why does it do this and how do I fix

that is called misfire.
any scan tool attached at that MOMENT will show why 90% of time.
or ever get a full tune up this decade?
9 of 10 cars misfiring are for NO TUNEUPS ever.

why , well that is because many parts of cars do not last the life of the engine.
fluids, spark parts, filters. belts.
and we change them out before they fail . this act is called a tuneup
or in modern jive,,,, "doing the 60K mile service points"

While i am driving my car shut off itself

you mean the engine stalled.
the cars computer does all it can to sustain running
when it can not for 100 reasons, it stalls.
it stalls for this list of macro reason. (no order)
1: EGR stuck open
2: poor engine compression
3: bad spark or timed wrong.
4: bad fueling. too rich or too lean,. can stall any engine.
even actual bad gasoline. can happen.
5: loss of idle air supply.
except clean EGR /ISC each path requires tests and tools.
got tools, got money for tools, go the time? then get to a shop.

My 2005 suzuki verona wont go beyond 1st gear and prior to that the engine stalled once in a while.

is this a transmission question, A/T or M/T
or a lack of engine power.
state which, if unsure ask any guy whos ever worked on cars to help.

Car cuts off when i brake

engine stalls.? , what cuts off. ?
my guess, is .
the car had collision damage or trailer wiring hacks. that the brake light
wire is hitting ground and shorts the line.
the fuse should blow, my 2nd guess. is someone put in the wrong fuse
allowing this short to kill power to the ECU/PCM, stalling the engines.
btw, you do know that brake lamp can IN FACT , short out inside.
right? so replace them. both, first.
then inspect the wiring behind them as you do , and LOOK
for collision damage, or hacking damage (trailer, added cruise, what ever)

Why does my rpm goes up and down on my 2005 Suzki Verona?

Sounds like it is being starved of fuel....
1. If you have not had your Fuel injectors cleaned in the past 2 yrs they need periodic cleaning...however this would have to have been going-on a LONG time to get as bad as a near-stall.

2. Replace the fuel filter. (located in front of the passenger rear tire.)

Purchased a Suzuki Verona 2003 three years ago, and the car has been stalling and stalling and stalling and stalling for the last two years now. I have replaced o2 sensors at least 4 sensors in all and...

ours would also rev up and down, along with the stalling.had the wiring harness that runs on top of the engine replaced, took care of it.now we get to do the upper control arms, but we have 115k on the car now

Car stalls and wants to shut off when at a stop. If rev it up while at a stop car will shut off, could this be a filter problem where fuel isnt getting through?

It could be a filter problem, but most likely it's something else.
Driveability problems can be caused by a myriad of things in automobiles these days.

Have the fuel pressure read by a gauge if you suspect the fuel system, though.
