Question about 2002 Mazda Miata
It will run for 20-30 minutes and then quit. Let it sit for 15 or so minutes and it starts and runs fine until it quits again a day or two later. The symptoms are like water in the gas, but I refilled the tank and added fuel treatment to remove any remaining water. Could it be the fuel filter? Anything else I can check?
Does your car kind of sputter? Rpm's jump and when you try to accelerate the car bogs until the end result is a stall? If so most people assume its the fuel filter and some belive its electrical, but from a sim ilar experience I found out that replacing the cam position sensor was the solution to my problem. Nothing bad has happened since. Hope this helps you pout.
