Question about 1992 Chevrolet Lumina
In addition to this..... car runs very rough and high. Consumes too much gas. Car stopped at a light last week...it was the alternator...$300 later... Car is junk!!
Sounds like your not in fuel control. Spark plugs are fouling out. You may need a 02 sensor and new plugs, You may also have a Map sensor bad or unplugged or the vacuum line to it is plugged. Also you may have to high fuel pressure or the return line is blocked if applicable..
If all this fails to resolve this you may have dripping injectors. Take a spark plug out to see if your running rich, Are they wet and sooty.
