Service park assist message. I replaced all 4 sensors and wiring harness at bumper. Vehicle was never in accident.

I not sure what the problem is but I do know if you back up over five miles per hour the park assist will shut down in reverse and you will get a message to that effect on the dash. I had the same problem with one of mine and the dealer told me that it is designed that way to shut down. Try backing up under five miles per hour and see if you have the same problem. Hope this helps.

Feels like I'm being held back

Sounds like your brakes are sticking. Possibly the emergency brake is not disengaging entirely? Stop the car and put in park. Apply emergency brake as hard/far as possible. Then release and put in drive and try to go. Most emergency brakes are self adjusting. If the problem still persists, have it taken to your mechanic.

1995 f350 powerstroke wont start one other time had to drop shifter and put back to park before it started now it wont start the lights elect windows and glow plug cycles but no clicking noise just nothing

replace the transmission range sensor. Adjust the new sensor by loosening the bolts slightly, turning the key on, putting the truck in reverse, and turning until reverse light come on.

there are 2 possible sensors, depending on which transmission you have.

After a flat tire, i put on the dummy spare. drove car 30-seconds and the anti lock, and brake lights came on and stayed on. what caused this? how can i fix this problem>?

The tire your drove flat on has activated and possibly destroyed the sensor switch on that wheel.Disconnect battery wait five minutes reconnect if light stays out your good to go if it comes back on you will have to replace that abs switch on the wheel you drove flat on best luck.John

Reverse backing sensor doesn't beep when backing

They have most likely painted over the sensors in the rear bumper or the module has fialed or the sensors are not plugged, one other slim posibility is the siren in the module is faulty.

Reverse sensors work some days but then on some days I get 3 second audio alarm when I turn on ignition,

I find the sensors only activate when you are very close to an object behind you. At about 5 inches they beep constantly. Further then five inches they beep slower and slower until they stop at about 8 inches from something behind you. If you are very close to an object lest then 2 inches they will beep constantly. Also when you start your car and put it in reverse and you hear a beep the reverse sensors are not working. The best way to test them is to turn the key to the start position but do not start it. place the lever in R get out or have someone walk in back of the car, you should hear the sensor go off. Also, there might be a situation when one or two are not working. Follow the procedure above for test but have a stethoscope mechanic type, which most auto parts stores carry. and listen to each one individually. If one is not working it will have to be replaced. The control module for this system is in the trunk next to the spare tire. Some of these cars had a leaking trunk problem in 02 if the module is wet, get a new one. If it hasn't failed it will when they get wet. Finally the sensors should be heard inside and outside the car.

2000 volvo s80 ran out of gas put gas in but it wont start

Turn the key to full power (but do not crank the engine). You may hear a high pitched whine from behind you - that's the fuel pump running. Leave the key on for about five seconds, then turn it off for a minute. Turn the key on again for another five seconds, and off for a minute. Then turn the key on for five seconds, and then crank the engine.

If your car ran out of gas, you need to run the fuel pump this way to get fuel up to the engine again - all the lines from the tank to the engine are empty, so the pump needs to run to fill them.

If this doesn't work, it's possible that the fuel pump is vapor-locked and will have to be replaced. Some cars are more susceptible than others to this type of failure.

IT sounds like your reverse gear is going out, or that you need to have filter replaced my best advise is have your transmission checked out by a transmission shop as soon as possible.
