If the amp behind the right hand panel in the passenger footwell is not fitted you will not get any sound from your door speakers.

Perhaps the harness at back of stereo/radio is not plugged in, or stereo is not set up to power them. Maybe upgraded stereo from factory required, or amp. Check on google for info on your particular stereo, and what it's features are.

to replace the spark plugs you need to remove the ignition cassette which is held in with 4 t-30 screws and the plugs are underneath that.

2001 SAAB 93 Driver door speaker blown.

Stock was 4 ohms and that is what you want. Also, it is madbass only as the stock amp has a built-in low pass filter. To remove the panel, go to this site and follw the directions. This is for NG 900 but is totally applicable to the OG 9-3 you have.

Saab 9-3 1999 convertible

On 1999 9-3 models there is a fuel filter located under the pass rear door. However if this was plugged it would not kick back in after a short time. Typical suspects are crankshaft position sensor which will work well on a cold engine and intermittently cut off and on when the engine is hot. Its a cheap sensor, and very easy to change. Possibly check condition of spark plugs and the DI cassette as well. Also check function of Fuel pressure regulator. Any fault codes stored (CEL on?)
