Badly! The best thing you can do is put 5 concrete blocks in the boot, side to side to give it some weight, This will give the tyres some grip, it will add to the consumption of fuel, but if oyu need the car, it's worth it. I have only had to do this once, and I used 4" concrete blocks, in a pile, and the first corner I lost it, but the next corner, the blocks evened themselves over the boot width, and the car handled perfectly, it just needs even weight.

Regards Dave. Let me know how you get on!

I run on Snow tyres 205/60-16 (Bridgestones ex USA via web) on a second wheel set (ex ebay) and find it fine. I have climbed hills when all else is stuck! Toyo Snowprox are also good.

2006 Highlander V-6 AWD,(not Limited Ed). I Live in colorado, drive about 30k /yr, need tires that will handle the snow/ice and hopefully last for 45k, suggestions?

Hello. Welcome to FixYa. Please allow us to assist you.

In a word, finding tires that will handle snow and ice, and last for 45,000 miles is a difficult task.

Tires that perform better in the snow are traditionally 'softer' tires, and are not going to last 45,000 miles, due to the inherently softer tread composition..

We here recommend Bridgestone "Blizzak" winter tires. We have found their performance on snow to be simply tremendous. I would get come Blizzaks installed if I were you.

Thanks for choosing FixYa today.

I have a 2006 Jaguar 2006 which has been serviced recently. The problem I have is when I get to 65 mph plus, the car starts juddering. This is not through the steering wheel and I have had the wheels balanced and aligned. Any ideas ?
