When I'm driving my 2002 Ford Taurus will sometimes hesitate, the thief light on the dash will flash and if my cruise control is on it will go off; what is causing this problem?

If dash lights are popping on and off, and the cruise turns off, then you are experiencing an interruption in power (as if the ignition is turned off and on). You or the mechanic did not specify which fuse blew. That could just be coincidence. Considering you have the battery light, there is a chance you have a charging system problem. The car uses power generated by the alternator when it's running, and switches to battery power if the alternator stops outputting. If the car is using the battery, it will drain and cause power interruptions and ultimately, kills the battery. Check the serpentine belt, clean and inspect battery cables and posts - tighten clamps, get the alternator and battery tested (Autozone will do this for free). I'm thinking bad alternator. The only other thing I can think of is you have a short somewhere in the ignition wiring, or a faulty ignition switch. But the fact that it got progressively worse speaks to the charging issue. If you want to test the charging system yourself, let me know and I'll post a basic procedure.

When I start my 92 suburban it idles high till I put it into gear then it hesitates like it's going to die

time for a full tune up?
plugs, fuel system cleaning, fuel filter, air filter.
(is main battery holding charge from alternator?
Is alternator producing charge for battery?)

Or check the fuel pump and fuel filter.

Has rewire of my rear entertainment system in 2004 chevy trailblazer drained my battery???

I would say that the someone was not familiar with your car and has tapped into the wrong power circuit. Take it to a audio shop that fits systems and have it fixed properly.

What is wrong with my 2006 V6 Cadillac hesitates to start after refueling

Hesitates after refueling, have someone check the FPR, Fuel Pump and Filter.
If you have junk in the tank, it will circulate when you add fuel to the system.

Hope this helps

2003 Ford Expedition 4.6L hesitance

Could be a number of things. Tune up, fuel injectors, coils, fuel filtration, vacuum system, compression. Inexpensive thing to do is take it to Advanced Auto, PepBoys or any parts store and ask them to check the codes. Most places won't charge you. Otherwise you need to take it to Ford Dealership to run diagnosis.

Have the alternator tested. Sounds like either the charging system has a problem or the belt came off.

Having problems starting

I would recommend taking this to an auto parts store and having them run a starting and charging system test. Most of them will do this at no charge. Your battery may be reading ok, but the starter and / or alternator may be going bad. (if you have a lot of extra electrical items it maybe wearing out the alternator while it tries to charge the battery back up, would explain the dimming of lights and hesitation when starting). Hope this helps.
