Change plugs (make sure gap is right), plug wires, coil (if applicable) make sure you are using good fuel i rec'''d conoco gas...
if you had work recently done then i would also trace it back to that.

What causes my 1993 Nissan altima to studder or idle rough at red light or stopped

-It could be miss fire, bad coil, air leak, injector or spark plug and plug wire. It's hard to tell at this moment.
-First able you needed to check all above to determine which part is bad.

Good luck

Beeping noise, jerking, and then shuts off

if the beeping is coming from under the dash panel it may be the main fuel pump relay also I would check all the battery and engine grounds

Jerks while driving

Have you serviced the transmission? It could be a clogged filter or contaminated fluid. Get serviced by a reputable vendor.

I have 2004 xj8 and when driving the car at about 50mph or 5th gear it starts jerking while accelerating. I let of the throttle it stops.

sounds like the tcm is trying to fail..but lets 1st start with a simple reset...disconnect the neg term and let her sit for 30-45 minutes...also have the ****** flushed asap, and then take it to jaguar and have the latest software upoloaded ...ZF has a new software for this jerking issue...

TPS? Car studders at low speeds when climbing hills

YOU HAVE A TORQUE CONVERTER LOCKUP ISSUE, HAVE SOMEONE LIKE THE DEALER,AUTO ZONE OR IF YOU ARE HANDY CHECK FOR CODES, NO CODES....THEN TAKE THE CAR OUT STEADY DRIVE AT AROUND 45 MPH, GENTLY HIT THE BRAKE PEDAL JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS GO ON BUT NOT HARD ENOUGH TO STOP THE CAR...DO YOU FEEL THE CONVERTER SHIFT IN AND OUT EACHJ TIME THE BRAKE PEDAL IS TOUCHED MAINTAINING A STEADY 45 MPH SPEED, IF IT THAT SAME SHUDDER YOU ARE FEELING THE TORQUE CONVERTER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, NOT AN EASY JOB AS THE TRANSMISSION HAS TO BE REMOVED TO GET AT IT.SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS.......

2000 ford econoline jerks

It does it more uphill because the engine needs more fuel. Its starving. How about replacing the fuel filter.

My jeep studders like it is starving for fuel

It could possibly be your TPS or throttle position sensor. It plugs into the side of the throttle body and tells the injectors how much fuel to squirt. If the voltage source to the sensor is incorrect it may cause the jeep to idle rough.
