Question about 2006 Honda Accord
There is a bulb that needs to be replaced. Just open up the two little doors that cover the change and 12v adapter plug. You should be able to pull up on part of the bezel around the shifter. Slowly pull up until the entire bezel is loose. Then disconnect the switch from the wire harness. There's a locking mechanism that keeps it connected to the switch. You just have to depress the switch and pull the harness away from the switch. Once you do that, you'll see from the side of the switch that there are three circles. The light that is the backlight is the middle one. You can get replacements at your local honda parts store. Hope that helps.
