The motor is wearing out. You will get it down one day and then not back up. Then it will start raining on you.

Hyundai ix35 2012 window lock stuck. passenger window half down and cant get it to move up or down

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.

You are experiencing the beginning stages of a failing window motor. If you've checked all the wiring, and it goes down with ease, but you need to "help" the window back UP, then you will need to replace the motor that drives the window to go up and down. Easily doable if you are even just slightly mechanically inclined.

Motor is overheating due to drag in the window tracks or possibly shorted windings. Try using silicone lube spray in the tracks. If this doesn't work, you probably need a new motor.

Power window comes up intermittently

I had the same problem. It was a bent rod on the regulator, which burned out the motor. Easiest way is to switch out the whole assembly, the motor and the regulator. Mine is working just fine now. I am a female and was able to switch it out just fine i just had to have someone else hold the window in the right positions to get to the bolts on the window.
