2000 chevy blazer was hard staring for months. it would start using stsrting fluid, but now it will not start. i tested fuel pump pressure, it was 45psi not sure what to do next?

Fuel injectors ? Are there being commanded on by the PCM/ECM ? Do you know how to test fuel system , fuel pump relay etc... Fuel pressure test ! Follow this guy's testing procedure ! GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing If you can't your best bet is take to the dealer !

Check fuel delivery. Filter may be clogged or pump may be bad.

sounds like u lost fuel pressure,possibly fuel pump, spray staring fluid inton throttle but make sure u re-connect air hose to throttle before u try to start because of the mass air flow sensor. it wont start u nless connected. hope this helps.

I have 2000 Chevy blazer 4.3 l v6 vortex I had the same problem I would spray starter fluid into the air flirted canester Nd it would start as soon as I stopped spraying the fluid the engine would die first I checked to make sure my gas pump was working in the gas tank second I checked my fuses under the hood and last the fuel pressure so my gas pump was on in the tank fuses were also ok but I had no pressure on the gas line so that ment my gas pump was bad I replaced it after replacing it my blazer fires problems free now

Hello, this indicates a weak fuel pump. fuel pressure real critcial on this vehicle. you will need to check the fuel pressure with a mechanical gage at the test port on the fuel line, near the throttle body. here is the fuel pressure spec.

When the ignition is ON and the fuel pump is running, the fuel pressure indicated by the fuel pressure gauge should read 414-455 kPa (60-66 psi

dirty fuel filter or faulty pump....just a guess...

It's the check vale inside fuel pump module . Testing for failed fuel pump check valve

What about the fuel filter????? Have you changed it out??? If you can spary something like a started fluid, that means it is a fuel problem. My last check, it has to be above 50-psi on the fuel pressure to make it run right. I had 35psi, but whould not get over 30mph or down hill maybe 45mph. Check both filter & pressure, but check pressure with a New fule filter!!!!

fuel filter is acheap part ur car needs and it cause the same, or coil can go out slowly. take it parts stare to have it checked good luk claymister

replace the fuel injectors, that is the likely cause......

to test the injector, take the power clip off the top of the injector, take one wire and ground it to the body of the car, and another form the battery, to the other post on the injector, if you do not hear a pulsing sound coming from the injector it is bad, if you do, then you have a wiring problem.
