Question about 1993 Buick LeSabre
I would suspect there is a blend door under the dash that's not working. Similar to a register in your house, when you switch to A/C, either a vaccuum dash pot or a servo motor opens and closes a series of blend doors to re-direct the air from the fan to where you want it. There are a lot of possibilities here, but if you can lay on the floor and trace back the duct to the Plenum. At the plenum is where the door (valve) will be located.Check to see if it's trying to operate when you switch from floor heat to A/C. You may be able to find the problem. If it's vaccuum operated, pull off the hose and see if it has suction. It may just be a blown dash pot. Give me more info and I can help you more.
