Olds Silhouette Passenger Side wiper not working

Your wipers have a transmission of its own. It is located between the wiper motor and the wiper arms. the linkage to the right wiper arm has fallen off. More than likely you will need to replace the transmission. If the wiper motor is original, replace it at the same time. Sometimes you can buy the two together. Any other questions, feel free to write back, good luck.

Wipers won't turn off

The wiper motor is defective and needs to be replaced. Inside the wiper motor is a "Park Switch". When you turn the wipers off, the park switch sends a signal to shut the wipers off. If the park switch fails to operate then the wipers will continue to run, unless the ignition key is turned off. You will also need to inspect and test the charging system. Where you had no issue before the rain, you may only need to charge the battery. After the battery is charged it should be load tested, to be sure that it is fine. Also test the alternator and make sure that it is charging correctly (@14volts). If you need more information please write back. Good luck.

Wiper blade slipped loose in heavy rain.

Unplug the electrical connector at the wiper motor. Use a voltmeter to check for power and ground on the Pink and dark green wires. This setup has two relays: hi speed and low speed. If you're not getting power and ground with IGN switch on RUN and wipers turned on, then yank the relays and check for ground to the relay control coils provided by the body control module. The wiper switch acts as a signal to the BCM to provide ground to the relays. The switch doesn't actually switch power to the relays.

Audi a4 windscreen wipers juddering vibrating

The problem you have comes from wiper blades causing friction in light rain conditions and can be cured by cleaning the rubber that contacts your windscreen with a rubber cleaner/conditioner or you can use spray silicone on the blades.

Same issue....wind flipped passanger wiper over

Most likely the nut that hold the arm at the pivot has come loose, pop the cover off, out the arm back in poisition and tighten the nut down, should be a 13mm nut.

Volvo 850 windshield wipers

The 13mm nuts that attach the wiper arms to the pivot assembly loosen with time. Pop up the plastic caps and tighten the nuts. Make sure the wipers are in the park position i.e. set the wiper switch in the off position before shutting the ignition off - otherwise you might tighten the wiper arms in the wrong position and they would try to go places they shouldn't :)
