Question about 2004 Mazda 3
Look at the backside of the headlight after raising the hood remove the bulb with the plug attached and then remove the plug look at the connections in the plug it may be that there is a bad connection I would just replace the bulb chances are the filiment is broken or hanging on by a thread causing intermittent failure.
