Smell gas aftr driving

Was the fuel pump recently replaced? If so, the smell is coming from the seal where the fuel pump seals to the gas tank. It's a large o-ring and if not put in properly you get the gas odor.

Ammonia type odor coming from ac vents.......why?

Please shut off the a/c immediately and check for gas leak. It oculd be dangeorus if children are in and so be careful to find out the leak. You will need to get assistance from an A/C service centre as the leaks have to identifed using pressurised air.

I have a 1996 mustang 4.6. when i start my car it runs at 2000rpm.will finally sttle at 1000rpms after few min. the rpms will not drop when you push in the clutch. just put a new idle air control valve on...

perhaps there is a air leak at the mating surface. if you have a bottle of propane, use it to ckeck for leaks around the gasket/mating surface. start the engine. open the valve on the bottle DO NT LIGHT direct the gas around the mating surface. if the r's go up you have a leak. it is possible that since this is new, the computer was used to the old one and needs time to adjust

Check the vaccum line at the vacuum distribution block (to the right of the brake master cylinder). It's the smallest vacuum hose.
