Question about 1994 Toyota Camry
Hey, I just retrieved my 1994 toyota camry from the tow, it was missing for a while, long story, anyway, all it needed was a new battery, I got that, but it was placed in wrong! So the mechanic placed it in properly, it wouldn't even crank, so come to find out some fuses were blown. Ok, so I replaced the fuses, tested the others, they're all fine. Now she cranks, but wont fully start! I was told a numerous amount of things, the alternator, the starter, the fuel pump, electrical issues....I'm not sure what it could be, does anyone have any idea & how much it would cost to fix?
As you are finding out ....this is how you kill a car. You need fuel, spark, compression, and air to run an engine. Look for spark and fuel items to be working. A computer controls much of the spark part. They canbe sensitve electrically. If you are cranking ..starter sounds ok. Alt. will act up after you get started. concentrate on spark and spark control. Fuel and fuel control. This is what you need to start.
