1996 nissan quest blower wont work. checked

It should be right next to the blower motor behind the glove box.

The main reason is a defective blower resistor. Normally the lower speeds on the fan switch go out first and leaves just the high speed working. Either your resistor is bad, the blower motor itself is dead, or you have a blown fuse - check the fuse box.

The resistor limits power to the blower to make for the slower speeds. It could be a sticking fan relay or the controller.

normally in the blower motor enclosure as it uses air flow to help cool the resistors

pull wire and check voltage that shoud be going to blower motor.

IS IT THE BLOWER MOTOR OR THE CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT ..ALSO THERE IS A IN LINE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR THAT BOLTS IN TO THE LOWER DUCTS WHEN THOSE GOT OUT IT CAN ALSO CAUSE THE BLOWER MOTOR NOT TO WORK....HOWEVER IF ITS THE BLOWER MOTOR ANY FROM 95-99 NISSAN MAXIMA WILL WORK ALSO I THINK THE 95-99 NISSAN QUEST WILL WORK..CLIMATE CONTROL WILL WORK FROM OTHER MAXI'S AS LONG AS IT'S THE SAME TYPE(ELECTRONIC OR DIAL TYPE)

YOU MAY WANT TO TRY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY OVER NIGHT I KNOW IT WORKS ON FORDS

The problem is they blower motor resistor.That will fix your problem.It is located under dash by blower motor after you buy the part look at it and you will find it fast THANKS TIM

Change your blower motor Resistor...it's probaly oxidized on those two coils....

The fan speed control resistor is burned out.
