Question about 1991 Ford Explorer
The relays are located under the dash on the driver side in fuse box or some models are under the hood in the fuse box if you have your owners manual the location will be in there if you dont have it google it or ebay will have the manual cheap good luck ....wojo

In the underhood power distribution box, the fuel pump relay is the same as the a/c relay swap the two and see if your pump starts to run, if so replace it, if not check power at the pump connector located on top of fuel tank, if it has power and the pump does not run then the pump is bad, remember when testing for power the fuel pump only runs for about 3 seconds when you turn on the key, after that you have to crank the engine, hope this helps, let me know

there is a relay for the fuel pump beside the air filter on my 91 f150 4x4 4.9L i6 300 I am having having problems with fuel pump also. hope this helps!

The fuelpump relay is located under the hood on the right side fender well, rightside would be the passenger side and is inside the relay box, heres a diagram to help you locate the relay, good luck.
