Question about 2005 Ford Freestar
I am having the same problem now as you folks were having last year.
Battery was replaced 3 months ago but everything worked fine afterwards. Van goes in to get detail cleaning last week and one of the doors was not secured all the way closed. Stayed that way over night. Manual says this problem could happen if door is left open over 6 hours, which was the case for me. However, resetting technique (in this case pulling disconnecting battery) did not fix the problem. Doors will still operate by buttons on them, but not with remote or console controls.
Did you guys figure it out?
Some remotes have to be reset on the receiver box. lookfor that and push the little button on it
