Will it hurt to run a 92 toyota 4runner with out a thermastate in it

Not at all. Just make sure the thermostat civer is sealed so you dont leak coolant. If you are overheating, has the waterpump been changed and the timing belt, since the water pump is timing belt driven.

How do I change the timing belt on my 1991 Toyota 4Runner 3.0 liter v-6?

Its pretty easy if you have the time and tools. You have to drain the coolant, remove the fan and radiator and pull the accessory belts off. Remove the crank pulley, timing cover and loosen the timing belt tensioner. Id reccommend changing the water pump/thermostat while you are in there along with all new belts. I would also check out for more information as they also have online manuals with more details. Good luck!

1999 4Runner need to change timing belt. What else should be change?

On a job like this, It is a good idea to replace the following; timing belt tensioner and pulley, idler/s, and waterpump (Refill the cooling system with coolant and distilled water), serpentine belt. When you install the belts, make sure that you can read the writing like holding a book in your hand. If it is upside down, it can cause excessive noise. If you need a diagram or anything else, please let me know.
