Question about 1995 Isuzu Trooper

'95 Isuzu Trooper Auto Door Locks Go off by themselves

Sometimes while driving, the auto door locks go up and down. This also sometimes happens when the car is parked. I will return and all the doors will be unlocked.
Is there a simple solution. Seems like it might be a faulty fuse or something.

Check out wiring to anti-theft keyless entry module (under centre console front right small module on top of larger one)
also checking for shorts in door wiring harness from module to door lock actuators

Chev impala sometimes while driving the auto. door locks start clicking for a couple of times then stop. what, s going on?.

Most times it is corrosion at the plug on the BCM(body control module). A couple times is was the BCM. A couple times the door lock switch, but they were really loose. The springs broke down and let make contact to unlock. The reason it locks is the BCM see the car is moving and locks them.

Need help with auto-locks!

When you get the doors unlocked, simply unplug the lock servos (motors) inside the door panels. The locks will still work manually and with the key. If they don't work with the key, then remove the linkage from the servo, to isolate the power lock function from the lock mechanism. Test the key while the door panels are off to avoid having to take them off twice to remove the linkage

Battery dead power locks ? keys locked inside No spare key any suggestions..? 1996 Trooper LS

Locksmith? Towing company or auto repair shop that provides lockout service??? I don't recommend trying to "jimmie" the door yourself. because if you pull or prod on the wrong thing you could cause a lot of damage that will cost a whole lot more to fix than the service call will cost you.

Door locks have mind of their own

the fords are well known for the little motors inside the doors to freeze up and stop working!!
but since you say sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, could mean that your BCM is bad!!
(BCM= Body Control Module)

1993 Nissan Maxima SE Car Alarm freaks out, and other electrical

Im no professional but i did recently buy a 93 maxima and i have the same security alarm problem and my powered locks dont work at all. im taking off the door panel today to take a look and see if the alarm sensor is loose or damaged, if it is, ill probably just disconnect it. one thing i have noticed though is that when i hit the lock or unlock button, i hear a faint click from the dashboard area which im assuming is the solenoid on a transistor which would mean that the buttons work but the transistor isnt delivering power. Semi-Solution for Locks: Listen for very quiet click when you lock/unlock doors, if you hear it, uve got major work to do, if you dont, then take apart the door and check the switch connections. Semi-Solution for Alarm: take off the door panel and disconnect the sensor.
