2 more possible causes; the shock absorbers. or warped brake discs.

SOURCE: 2004 Saturn Vue Brakes

The vibration is caused by the rotors being warped. Remove the front tires and check the front brake pads. Replace if needed. This is a pretty straight forward job. The rotors are "fall off" rotors and you won't need anything special tool wise.

SOURCE: I just had my wheel bearings replaced on both

Vues are bad for having all hub bearings make noise, check your rear ones.Or the ones you didn't have replaced. If it's all wheel drive check the propshaft center carrier bearing.Common to fail & make noise.hope this helps

SOURCE: i have a 2004 saturn vue when i apply the brakes my abs comes on

It sounds like one of your wheel sensors isn't working, and the ABS is thinking that one wheel is locked up, so it's activating ABS.

we have a 2003 saturn vue which we installed new tires on and we noticed a noise about 6 months afterwards. it sounded to my wife and i to be loud road noise from the tires. the car was driven for 6 months and we decided the noise was annoing. had the tires checked only to find it was the left front wheel bearing which was replaced and stopped the noise.

When I am in stop and go traffic, the brake pedal vibrates when I press it. It will stop if I stomp on the brakes, but I really do not enjoy the whiplash that comes with it. I have a 2002 Vue AWD with...

The slides in your calipers are probably sticking. Remove the front wheels. Remove the caliper bolts. I have not worked on one of these but the principle is the same. There will be hard ware with a rubber boot and some kind of pin that the caliper is supposed to move on as you step on the brake pedal. Remove those pins and lightly coat them with brake silicone. reassemble and test drive, hopefully your problem will have gone away. If not I would suggest a more detailed brake examination.

Whirring noise - Saturn VUE

Greg,
Sounds like wheel bearing issues. I've had my front wheel bearings replaced twice on an 02 Vue AWD V-6. The 02-07 Vues use the same wheel bearings and they are a known issue with these
cars. Another problem with these cars is the rear support bearing for the drive shaft in the AWD models. I recommend having the wheel bearings and rear carrier bearing checked out. Good luck.

2006 Saturn steering wheel vibrates/shakes when coming to a stop.

your brake rotors need to be turned down. you need to check the brake pads while your at it. if they are thin. change them and pack the bearings while there out. and change the inter greace seals. then your good for another 50 - 70 000 miles. also ask them to pull the rear drums and check for wear. they call it free inspection. this is sometimes caused from water splashing on hot rotors, makes the brake pedal to pulsate...

good luck & good day

Satrun Vue 2005 ABS activates for no reason

It may just new brakes, pull the ABS fuse and see if the problem still exists, if it does then it's not a ABS problem

Vibration when braking that I feel through the brake pedal.

Is it possible that you are hearing the abs pump running in the engine compartment? It sounds like an ABS problem with one of your wheel speed sensors.

Saturn Vue 2004 model

more than likely you have warped brake rotors. or lack of parallelism in the rotors. you can get them machined if there is enough meat left on the rotor or just buy a new set which isn't all that bad for that vehicle since it's a floating rotor. good luck
