At highway speed, as the car transitions from a set speed to slight deceleration (slight easing off the gas pedal) or from a hard deceleration (foot completely off the gas pedal) to a very slight...

sounds like your egr valve is opening too far at part throttle and sticking open. it is actuated by solenoids that open and let engine vacuum in. you were on a good path in checking the vacuum lines. however this may require replacing the egr valve and gasket. the egr valve is circular in shape on top and usually is bolted down with two bolts. its located on the engine side facing the firewall.

Check engine light flashes when accelerating or decelerating, code P0300, NO POWER IN HIGHER GEARS, or uphill or at high altitude Above 7000 ft.(truck is six speed manual)

P0300 = random and multiple misfires. Check your coils and ignition electrics - this is where the fault would appear to be by the OBD fault code displayed. Hope this is of help - good luck.

My 1996 sentra blowin smoke upon take off then goes away ,,runs quietly ..any thoughts...

This is caused leaking engine valve stem seals, oil gets into the cylinders during deceleration to a stop, and then quickly burns off when you accelerate away. If it not using allot of oil just live with it, it is very expensive to repair.

A light comes on in my car that says oil pressure low stop engine now but i have oil in my vehicle and even had the car checked for my 2006 chevy impala

If the light is only turning on during acceleration or deceleration and then goes off, this is normal. If the light is constant, and you are sure you have oil that is up to the "full" or "max" level on the dipstick while hot, then it might point to a faulty oil pump or worn gaskets that will no longer prevent the oil from staying in place in the engine. Is this light accompanied by a check engine light. If so what is the code. You may also have a faulty oil sensor. Hope this helps

Oil light comes on under deceleration.oil levels are fine

I would guess your oil pump is going out causing it to loose oil pressure. If you continue to drive your car in this condition it will most likely ruin the engine. If it is not your oil pump it is something else causing you to loose oil pressure and I would have it looked at soon.

Constant backfire on deceleration 88 chevy 4.3 V 6

Check for exhaust leaks. Esp Leaks toward the front of the car. Hold your hand over the tail pipe using a rag and see where the loud hissing noise comes from. Repair the leaks and I bet the backfiring goes away

Good Luck
