The water pump is likely leaking, don't drive this until the pump is replaced, u run the risk of total failure and a damged engine

water gets in past the membrane under the inside door trim, from blocked drain holes under the door, from rust holes in the phylum chamber at the bottom of the windscreen. If you had work done on the doors then the membrane has not been properly sealed up after the job.

Why is my 1998 ford contour over heating and my heater no longer works

Radiator is corroded, plugged up due to age. Same with the heater core. You door vents might not be working, which could also result in a no heat situation.

Water leaking under car

You sure it isn't the condensate from the Air conditioner?
You should have antifreeze in the radiator, not just water.
If this is clear water,it's probably condensate and no problem.
BTW,if you weakened your antifreeze solution by adding water to it,you might want to check if the freeze point is still around 30-40 below zero Fahrenheit. don-ohio (:^)

Itsounds like you need to change the thermostat to one that opens at a lower tempature or the one you have may ot be working correctly

My car is running hot and leaking water? i have changed the thermostat and it didn't help. there is water leaking from looks like the side of the engine maybe? the gage on the inside of the car didn't show...

if water is leaking from side of engine .. look to see if its leaking on side of intake check thermostat housing again check water pump or if its leaking towards the bottom of block it could be a freeze plug all easy fixes freeze plugs can be replaced with an expansion plug that has a nut on it to tighten to fit or replace with oem and a hammer

Leaking from bottom on driver side

your cooling system is faulty, possible the radiator or the hoses connecting are defective. do not drive unless you rectify this or else you will end up in a breakdown.
