NO
the vacuum hose to the transmission actuator is a small hose from the manifold down to the top of the transmission
the hose you have off is from a brake booster or PCV unit

SOURCE: 1999 a4 2.4 auto uk model gearbox fault

After a jump start because of no electrical power, the car will run rough for several days (expected) while it adjusts to your driving habits. I'm not sure about the gears, but I'd try to drive with it like that for a few days and see if it returns to normal.

SOURCE: Auto gearbox gets stuck in reverse gear.

This is likely a sticking valve in the transmission valve body assembly, try adding a can of Lucas brand transmission additive.

Testimonial: "Hi Dennis. Thanks for your solution have ordered parts to drain gearbox oil and replace filter in the sump, will add additive when I put it back. Thanks for your reply."

Hello I have problem with scania r420 auto manual gearbox gear 1is normal gear2 is not going gear3 normal gear4 is not going gear5 normal UpTo gear12

If you are experiencing issues with the gearbox on your Scania R420 where gear 1 and 3 are working normally, but gear 2 and 4 are not engaging properly, it is likely that there is a problem with the gearbox itself. Here are a few potential causes for the issue and steps you can try to troubleshoot:
  1. Synchronizer ring: The synchronizer ring is responsible for coordinating the speed of the gear with the speed of the engine. If the synchronizer ring is worn or damaged, it may prevent gear 2 and 4 from engaging properly.
  2. Clutch: The clutch is responsible for connecting and disconnecting the engine from the gearbox. If the clutch is worn or damaged, it may prevent gear 2 and 4 from engaging properly.
  3. Linkage: The linkage is responsible for connecting the gear lever to the gearbox. If the linkage is worn or damaged, it may prevent gear 2 and 4 from engaging properly.
  4. Control module: The control module is responsible for controlling the gearbox. If the control module is malfunctioning, it may prevent gear 2 and 4 from engaging properly.
  5. Check the oil level and condition: Make sure that the oil level and condition are correct. Low oil level or dirty oil can cause damage to the gearbox and prevent gear 2 and 4 from

When changing from auto to stick shift, don't forget to install a pilot bushing into the rear of the crankshaft. It's a real bummer when you do everything else right and forget this small part...ask me how I know!

1997 Ford Windstar

It could be the vacuum modulator on your auto transmission, sometimes when vacuum hoses fail, split or whatever, they can suck up impurities causing other downstream items to fail. Also check mechanical linkage form shifter in cabin to transmission gear selector arm. If jumps were happening these might have worked loose. Best of luck!

It sounds like the tranny is over heating, you might want to have the tranny check by a pro. Way to complex to work on with out experience and training.

1994 automatic transmission slipping

more than likely it would be your torque converter and not your trans
but you could have the overall dreaded problem that your second gear has grinded its self down and thats why you cant get second gear
no vacumes for the 94 straight mechanical and electrical if there was a vacume you would have found it when you dropped the pan it isnt hard to see around the whole trans cause it would be located next to the speedo with a rubber hose 1/4 thick
