Question about 2006 Ford Mustang
I was driving onto the freeway in my 2005 mustang v6. When i wanted to roll my windows up that were all the way down. Clicked both windows at the same time and they didnt move and the radio turned off right as i clicked it. Windows have been stuck down and radio still hasnt worked. All other power still works. I did have a coolant leak at the same time tho. i fixed the coolant leak, but windows still dont work. Maybe coolant leaked on something? I checked the fuses on the radio and windows, but they all had different fuses that were still good
Oliethegoali: From your description you have a problem with a component called a "SUBJUNCTION BOX" This, unfortunately is a component very few independent shops can even service because it has to communicate with another component called a Body Control Module. Unfortunately, Nearly all the new cars have Body Control Modules which require special diagnostic and programming equipment to fully service the vehicles. The independent shops still have the capabilities of communicating with the on-board computers, but few shops have the means of re-programming the new cars when components have to be changed. Reason being, the software alone, costs thousands of dollars just for one make and year vehicle. I'm sorry to say, you will need to take the car to a Ford dealer for the repair.
