Separate mudula all together, your car may or may not be set up with the wiring ( factory wiring ) to install the system. Have your local Ford dealer run the VIN # to check.

Location of drl module

The car has daytime running lights and if they are going on and off it is more than likely that the module that turns them on is worn out (failing). You can replace it, or just pull out the fuse (located under the hood, check owners manual).

Need help finding the ignition module on a 97 ford crown victoria

There is no ignition module. The ignition coils are controlled directly by the Powertrain control module (computer) located inside the vehicle above the drivers left foot and connected to the engine wiring harness thru the firewall

Daytime running lights not working

Hello timbus.
These models have a daytime running light module that is very common for problems such as yours.
You will find it ahead of your radiator and below the hood latch on the left side of your car.
To my knowledge the module is available from Ford only.
I hope this helps you towards a repair.
