Low side port of the A/C tubing is where refrigerant is added.

Remove the shield on the D/S inner fender to access the fitting, best if you turn the steering all the way to the right for room

There is a port on the compressor - underneath the car on the driver's side. Not bad to get to if you jack the car up. Nothing to prevent you from doing it yourself.

However, I would caution you that if you don't understand the A/C system, it shouldn't be a do it yourself job. There is a high pressure side and a low pressure side, plug on to the wrong one and you could have issues.

i gave u the correct info the ac compressor is down low on the engine, you must get under the car to access the charging port to add freon, you can't see it from up top.

Hi there,

Right next to the receiver/dryer there is an attachment that looks like a tire valve. This is where the guages connect to the freon can.

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Adding refridgerant to Lincoln LS

Not sure of the engine ,so the low side port is in the bigger of the 2 lines.
If you get freon from a parts store with the hose that comes with the can,it will only fit the low side ,Just start the car turn the ac on high, then open the valve on the can,(with the can upright) It will **** the freon out ,you will know when it's empty from the weight. Close the valve ,disconnect the hose, and be cool.

On the intake, Near the top radiator hose inlet, Note this model has 2, 1 Runs the guage, The other tells the pcm what temp the motor is for strategy. DO NOT REMOVE THIS WITH VEHICAL WARM OR HOT.
