As in you want a diagram? Either way, I don't have one but I have managed to remove it. I don't know if this might help but I start off by forcibly removing it by holding on to both sides of the top of the console (where the ash tray resides). Upon removal, I remove the cover of the ash tray by unscrewing two screws on both sides of the cover. These require a cross screwdriver. I then take off the connectors to both of the buttons where the gear lever is. The leather surrounding the handbrake is a bit tricky to remove. Slowly unbutton it then remove the top plastic part; you might lose the little spring that holds the button if you aren't careful. Then open the arm rest. Two Torx screws are located by the pivot point of the arm rest. I'm sorry I can't remember the size (most likely an T8). That's just about it. Hope this helps

I need the diagram and information how to fix the top dead center for a jaguar 1997 xj6 please can some one help me .

top dead center on each cylinder is the position of the piston on the compression stroke at it's highest point. You will need to remove spark plug and disable the ignition system then install a compression tester and crank it a little at a time until there is compression then stop asap .Then remove tester and install a skinny stick like a barbecue stick and turn the engine by using a ratchet socket on the crank pulley bolt either clockwise or counterclockwise until the stick is in the highest position

I have a problem with some of the interior lighting on the console (radio, etc.) that no longer works and my heater has stopped blowing hot air? I am assuming a fuse-related problem. Any suggestions?

Examining the circuit diagrams, I am pretty certain that the lighting and heater controls are separate circuits, so no common fuse. According to the Jaguar circuit diagram, there is a common ground near the ICE system. Remove the centre console trim, then the ICE and it should be easy to find. Check all earths are secure. Naturally check all fuses first as you never know, but it seems unlikely.

How to remove 1990 xj6 radio

You must open the center console lid and remove the 2 Phillips head screws above the fuse station to expose the ashtray Phillips head screws.Remove the ashtray screws and carefully pull he ashtray back towards the center console. After the ashtray is removed take your hand an feel under the wood grain unit for the 2 plastic wing nuts holding the wood grain in place. Remove them and gently lift the wood grain up and out of the way. Remove the 4 Phillips head screws holding the AC controls and Radio bracket. Place the gear shifter in drive to pull the whole unit out. Sounds like a lot but takes about 10-15 mins to complete.
