Question about Hyundai Motor 2002 Elantra
I am hearing doors clicking and popping noises. Sounds like maybe the door locking system is failing. Why is that happening, and what do i need to do to fix it?
Check the play in the door pin hinges by lifting up and down on the end of the door if there is excessive play or up and down movement the door pins must be replaced, I have had cars make this sound because of worn hinge pins.

Same thing happened with mine. It turned out that the
power door lock motor went out. Since the handle or the switch can unlock the
driver's door, both of these mechanisms are connected. When the door lock motor
goes out it freezes in whatever position, it was last engaged.
