How to change spark plugs

All four are on the top of the engine.the first two are easy to get to the second two are under the coils. There is a series of four plugs two of which are screwed down. Unscrew these and you can easily remove the first two plugs. The second two arenot as easy. The connecters arenot screwed down, but under are the coils you have to remove them with a special tool to get to the spark plugs underneath.

Spark plug wires

yes you didnt finish the always replace all plugs /plug wiring and inspect coil terminal which there should be four . trace out each individual wire and you'll find the coils. go with a good name brand transmission dextron 111 type fluid. For plug dont let anyone talk you into buying any type of fancy spark plugs use the factory recommended perferablly NGK i like that brand and have never had a problem. always put a small coating of engine oil on the threads before you install this will help get it out easier for next plug change, and never torque down on the spark plugs, especially if it has crush rings attached, just snug them up all finger tight first as good as you can get, then snug up tight with a wrench, then a good 1/4 turn should be good enough.

Changing rear spark plugs on an 05 Bonnevile V6

No special tools, however the hard part will be getting the plug wires off without pulling the inner contact apart. Rotate the boots on the plugs before trying to remove the wires.

Changing the spark plugs

All of them are easy except the last in the back as you are probably aware. No 'special' tools needed. I managed it with a a u-joint and 10" and a 6" extensions; the 10" seems about just right, the other not so critical.
From the passenger's side, lay over the wheel well and drop your plug socket with the 10" extension into the spark plug hole. That may take a couple minutes a fiddling to find it. Once in, slip on the u-joint. It will be right up against the firewall. Then put the other extension on. Voila!

Installing is the same. Put the plug in with the 10" extension, start by hand, then put the u-joint on & finish.
