This car only has 22,000 miles on it and the rotors were turned at 19,000 miles. The squealling has been a problem from the beginning.

There's a small strip on the brake pads that will sqeal when the pads have worn down. This is a warning to replace the pads or risk doing harm to the rotors. Pads wear differently according to driving conditions and the driver. If a a car does lot of stop and go driving, the pads will wear down faster than if the car does more highway driving. There's an excellent chance that you need brake pads.

Assuming the pads are good, then most likely source is a warped rotor. The rotor was either defective or it may have been turned outside of recommended specifications.

Whenever I go above 60 mph on the highway my steering wheel shakes or vibrates. This has happened before and I had to get my rotors turned. Could it be that I need new rotors? If so, what's the best brand...

Rotors will only cause a shake when braking. Your problem is more than likely out of balance tires.

The best brake components are usually the ones that cost the most.

Why does reduce engine power light comes on chevy

That is a hard problem to pin point without knowing what codes the computer has stored. It can be any number or sensors or engine problems.

You can go to most auto parts stores and they will pull the codes for you for free.

It sounds like you need a brake light switch. It is mounted under the dash on the pedal assembly. It is easy to change, just twists in place. Good Luck
