Drive by wire? Meaning electronic throttle body. Usually the TPS goes first(at the gas pedal). Codes need to be read first. 3 components for this. TPS,Throttle body, and PCM. None are cheap.

2010 nissan cube starts and idles, but no throttle response at all

Your throttle body solenoid has taken a dump... change it.. or have someone change it out and it should be fine.

Gauges stop working, engine won't idle

See the YouTube video on how to repair broken solder joints on your instrument cluster connector. This takes about an hour and solves a number of intermittent problems. I think it may be under "no start" problems.

Had a question bout my mazda rx8 I was driving it one night it was running fine the next day went out and it won't turn over it takes awhile bit it finally starts and idles real rough and you give it...

Too many possibilities

Won't turn over is one problem -battery,cables,grounds,
starter,solenoid,etc

Idles rough-- vacuum leaks, spark plugs never replaced,
egr valve etc

Worn O2 Sensors
Dirty MAF Sensor
Old Fuel Filter

You have to go into a lot of technical detail & history
on your vehicle, for us to even guess.

Try shaking the ICM connector see if it effects engine operation if it does inspect for looseness and poor terminal contact, these have a know connection problem especially 1,3,6 connections these are known as (COP) coil on plug
